This floating church is one of the most incredible sights to see in Germany! Known for hosting private events, weddings, concerts and shows, the church is the tallest floating structure on any lake in the country. From up above, you can see the unique architecture as it's suspended on the ombré waters of Großpösna. (before flying a drone, check and follow local drone regulations and permit requirements)

This drone image was taken from above the Vineta Church, which floats on Lake Störmthal in Großpösna. I suggest parking in the small village of Störmthal and then walking to the observation deck on the northeast side of the lake. From here, you can launch your drone. Reference the GPS coordinates to see exactly where I stood to get this aerial view of the church, which is directly west of the observation deck. Even though it's far (about 2km), you'll still be able to fly your drone to the church and capture a good shot.
