This magnificent castle along the Moselle River is a magical sight, both from a ground and aerial perspective. After it was heavily damaged in war, the medieval, neo-gothic architecture boasts an impressive exterior, as well as interior.

This drone image was taken of the Cochem Castle with a view of the valley and Moselle River. Drive to the GPS coordinates, which will lead you to the Parkplatz where you can fly your drone. The castle will be north of you and I composed this shot with my drone facing east down the Moselle river.
If you'd like to visit the castle, you can ride the bus to the nearby Enderplatz bus station or take the Cochem Castle shuttle-bus from Cochem.
