After the war, much of the architecture in east Berlin was dull and lifeless, so the city revitalized the area by adding designs and murals to bring an unexpected vibrancy to the monochrome buildings. This block is one of the most Instragrammable locations, but there are still endless ways to make it unique. Grab your camera (or even your phone!) and start snapping away.

This image of the split rainbow was taken along Weißenseer Weg inside the City Point Center shopping mall in Berlin, looking southeast onto the residential buildings.
To get this perspective, enter the shopping mall and take the elevators up to the medical practice offices. The medical practice offices are private, but if you're respectful, you can photograph from the windows.
Another option is to photograph outside on the sidewalk directly in front of the City Point Center (52.526776, 13.479065). You'll have a slightly angled view, but you can still achieve a great shot.
By Light Rail:
- Roederplatz Berlin (via M4, M5, M8 or M10 lines)
- Head east towards the City Point-Center
Address:
City Point-Center, Paul-Junius-Straße 70, 10369 Berlin, Germany
