On both sides of the exterior of this famous library are two towering glass structures that house over 250 miles of bookshelves — a real treat for any book lover! Each set of buildings stands as the perfect backdrop for a modern lifestyle photo, so after browsing the 14 million volumes of literature, make sure to snap a few photos while you're there.

This image was taken on the east end of the upper level of the Bibliothèque François-Mitterand. To get this perspective, myself and my model stood facing west toward the two towers at the other end of the grounds. I wanted my model to appear like she was hanging over the edge of the railing, so she stood directly in front of me over the ledge. By Metro: - Closest station: Bibliothèque François-Mitterand (via Line 14 or RER C) - Head northwest on Avenue de France toward Rue Primo Levi - Turn right - Turn left then take the stairs
