Paris may be filled with one quaint street after the next, but this viewpoint along Rue de Bièvre is one of my favorites. In the morning, the light casts shadows that give the image a soft depth as you capture the town beginning to awaken for the day.

This image was taken along Rue de Bièvre in Paris. I stood just off of Quai de la Tournelle, which is near the north side of the street, to get this perspective. The easiest way to access this location is by taking public transportation and then walking about three minutes.
When you arrive at the location, reference the GPS coordinates to see the exact spot where I stood to capture this photo.
By public transportation:
- Closest Metro station: Maubert - Mutualité (via Line 10)
- Head east on Boulevard Saint-Germain toward Rue des Carmes
- Turn left onto Rue de Bièvre
