This photo of Sarasota was taken from the Lido Beach parking lot.
Embark on a short journey west from the heart of Sarasota, crossing the John Ringling Causeway. Turn onto Benjamin Franklin Dr, and you'll see the parking lot in front of you. Parking is free, and there's usually space for everyone although the beach may be crowded. It's not a restricted airspace so you can use your drone comfortably.
After I launched my drone, I flew east, and took this photo at (27.313660, -82.570520). To find the spot, do a quick 180 and enjoy the views!
