Western Oasis Run in Valkmusa National Park

avatar
@hugoraphy
Besides its famous swamps, Valkmusa National Park also has mysterious paths. Läntisen keitaan lenkki, meaning Western Oasis Run, is one of them. It's hard to find paths that look this good in photos amongst Finnish vegetation, so maybe that's why we call it an oasis? It's also easy to get to!

This photo was taken in Valkmusa National Park, on a trailhead called Läntisen keitaan lenkki. You can get there by taking Road 3562. The entrance of the park is located on this road and you will see the parking lot as soon as you enter. Once you're there, take the Läntisen keitaan lenkki trail. It is 1.5 miles long but you will get to this particular spot in about 10 minutes if you hike clockwise.
