The image was taken on the Emirates Air Line with a view of the River Thames, The O2 and city skyline. As you cross over the river on the cable car, you'll be able to see this view, with The O2 directly in front of you. You can board the Emirates Air Line from either the North Greenwich or Royal Victoria side of the river. I recommend starting at North Greenwich (via Jubilee Line) and then buying a return ticket so you can go to Royal Victoria and back.
