Nestled within a granite valley, this hidden lake lives up it its name. Every spring, the water offers a pristine reflection of Half Dome and Mount Watkins.

This image was taken at Mirror Lake / Tenaya Creek, which fills with water seasonally. I stood on the east side of the creek — reference the GPS coordinates in satellite mode for reference. Once you're in Yosemite National Park, park your car in Half Dome Village and take the shuttle towards Mirror Lake. You can also walk along Mirror Lake trail, which you'll find towards the east of Half Dome Village. The trail begins on shuttle stop number 17. The first mile of the trail is paved and then continues on the dirt for the remainder of two 2 mile trail. At the first split, I headed right, which puts me on the east side of the creek. You won't be able to cross the lake once you pick a side to walk down.
