This photo of Lower Yosemite Falls was taken near Lower Yosemite Fall Vista Point at the base of the waterfall, which is along Lower Yosemite Falls Trail in Yosemite National Park.
I stood northwest of Lower Yosemite Fall Vista Point and pointed my camera north toward the waterfall. My subject posed for me on a boulder at the border of the Lower Yosemite Falls pool.
To get to the waterfall, walk from the Yosemite National Park Visitor Center or take the free shuttle to Shuttle Stop #6 or #8. The trail's entrance is clearly marked on the north side of the road. Walk the paved trail until you reach the waterfall — it's impossible to miss!
