Whether you're driving into or exiting the park, you'll want to be on the lookout for El Capitan Dr. This road passes over a bridge which has the lookout over the Merced River! Find parking wherever you can (there's lots close by) and make your way to the bridge for the beautiful view over the river. I faced south towards the Cathedral Rocks for this shot.
