The featured photo is of the Korean Bell of Friendship. It’s located at the heart of Angels Gate Park in San Pedro.
As you pull into the park’s main parking lot, you really can't miss it. It's the first attraction you'll see and the sidewalk leads directly to it.

Tips
When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Mid-day, Late afternoon
All months of the year are suitable to photograph the Korean Bell of Friendship.
For blue skies like my featured image it's best to visit around mid-day thru late-afternoon. Although, given you're near the ocean, sunset is also an incredible time to visit.
Visit mid-week if you’re trying to avoid the crowds.
Field tips
To capture the entirety of the architecture I recommend using a wide-angle lens (24mm). Although, I composed it fairly well with at 50mm back from the bushes.
Be patient and wait for the right activity to happen in your frame. In the featured shot you'll see I photographed a skateboarder.
Given the uniqueness of the Korean Bell's architecture there are lots of ways to photograph it. Experiment and find your perfect composition!
