This location is inside of the Lands End Park. The easiest way to arrive is by car and you’ll want to reference the GPS to make sure you get to the right spot. Drive west on Point Lobos Ave, past 48th Avenue, and make a right into the main Sutro Baths Parking lot, and park. Walk north onto the Lands End Trail, and turn left onto a stairway leading down to Sutro Baths Upper Trail. Left of the stairway you’ll see an area covered with trees and vegetation. I walked into this area and stood on the dry dirt mound to take this photograph.
