A peaceful cliff-hanger, located just 30 minutes west of the acclaimed Silicon Valley, is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan life. In addition to experiencing its serenity and calmness, you'll also be able to capture the light of the setting sun as it bounces from tree to tree along Hickory Oaks Trail.

This image was taken around 50 yards off the Hickory Oaks Trail, with a view of the Santa Cruz mountains. You'll need a car to get to this location. First, drive up Highway 9, then take a right when you reach Skyline Boulevard. Proceed down Skyline Boulevard until you reach a lengthy, forested pullout on the right. Park your car there. After parking your car, cross the road toward the entrance of the trail (37.269315, -122.141532). Hike for about 5 minutes up a moderately steep incline toward an intersection in the path. At the intersection, take a right and continue down the trail until you can see this viewpoint. Traverse left and down a steep decline toward a small boulder near the cliff. Stand on the boulder for a more elevated perspective and then have your model stand near the boulder by the cliff (be careful!).
