Right off the scenic Highway 395, this is one of the few roads that line up perfectly with the back drop of the Sierra Mountains. In the early mornings, the sun rises and illuminates the peaks in an ethereal glow. There's nothing quite like breathing in the fresh alpine air early in the morning, too!

This image was taken on Benton Crossing Road, with a southwest-facing view of the Sierra Mountains. The spot where I parked is right off of the road, so just be careful and try to find a place that doesn't block any oncoming vehicles.
After parking, stand directly in the middle of the road (reference the GPS coordinates) and you'll be able to capture this perspective of your model and the peaks in the distance.
