Some say that the true beauty of California is found in its coastlines. This location is no exception. Showcasing the perfect harmony of nature, the waves mimic the curves of the cliffs as they gently hit the shore. High up on this overlook, listen to the sounds of the crashing waves, and look out for the local birds flying overhead.

I took this photograph from the South Beach Overlook in Point Reyes, facing northeast.
Located right next to the Point Reyes Lighthouse, you actually park in the Lighthouse parking lot and walk past the wooden signpost out on to the short and marked trail for this overlook. There are several locations and angles you can capture once you're on the overlook and it's impossible to get a bad perspective once you're there.
