Cypress Tree Tunnel in Point Reyes

avatar
@lisabao
In Cypress Tree Tunnel, the arching branches form a natural canopy, and the sun's rays gently pierce through the foliage. A serene retreat near the California coast, this secluded tree tunnel is the perfect place for an evening stroll.

Located 45 miles north of San Francisco, this tree tunnel is found after a scenic and winding road among the hills of Inverness. Pull into the long driveway, surrounded by the cypress trees, to get to a small parking lot next to the historic RCA / Marconi Station. Capture the tunnel from either end, but this photo was captured looking down the tunnel near the station building.
