Enjoy endless rolling hills covered in the most amazing wild grass in all of California. This view overlooks much of the ocean and is one of the best places to watch the sunset or sunrise. The grass amazingly lights up from the sun before it sets on the horizon; I’ve never seen a brighter shade of green!

The featured image was taken on Mount Tamalpais along W Ridgecrest Blvd.
Take Pan Toll Rd to the top until you reach a 3 way intersection and go left onto W Ridgecrest Blvd. There is only one entrance if you are coming from the San Francisco side. Go west and then the road will start to face north. Some seasons the road goes back into the forest, depending on weather.
I stood at the GPS coordinate and framed the rolling hills northwest along W Ridgecrest Blvd (facing away from downtown San Francisco).
