California’s picturesque Catalina Island is only 22 miles long and eight miles wide. This means that finding sweeping views is possible no matter where you are on the island! At this vantage point, I was able to capture the whole town glowing in soft light.

Catalina Island is best accessed by boat. The most commonly used port is out of Long Beach. They also offer free round trip rides on your birthday.
Once on the island, I recommend renting an electric cart to make navigating the island easier.
The featured image was taken on an overlook on Upper Terrace Rd as the sun was setting behind the hills (Wrigley Road splits off into Upper Terrace Rd).
