This image was taken on the Stanserjoch Mountain Peak with a north-facing view of Achensee Lake. There are several ways to get to the top of this peak, but I took the route from Maurach. If you're choosing to go this way, head southwest into the Weißenbach valley. Pass the Weißenbachalm (1606 m, possible refreshments available will be available here) to reach the Weißenbachsattel. Parking is available near the restaurant called Weißenbach Alm (47.407329, 11.698083). From the Weißenbachsatte, reference the GPS coordinates (you'll be headed south) to reach the summit. Another option is to take the route from Perisau.
