How to get there

This photo of Falls Creek Falls was taken from downriver on Falls Creek, looking back east toward the waterfall. To get here, park at the parking lot at the Falls Creek Fall trailhead (45.905755, -121.939890). The trailhead is clearly visible from the parking area.
As you near the end of the trail you will get your first glimpse of the massive 220ft waterfall. Continue hiking until you arrive at the overlook.
If you're sending hikers down to the falls to be photographed, backtrack slightly from the overlook and you'll see a steep trail that leads down to the river. The trail is very unmaintained and you may need to do a bit of navigating on your way down.
Driving directions from Carson:
- Head north on Wind River Hwy
- Turn right onto Meadow Creek Rd/NF-30
- Turn right onto NF-3062
- NF-3062 turns slightly right and becomes NF-057
- Park next to the Falls Creek Falls trailhead
