In the heart of Hanoi, a city that wears its history with pride, there lies a phenomenon as intriguing as it is picturesque—the Train Street.
Of course, I knew about the famous train street that every tourist visits. But I believe not many people dare to get this close.
Amidst fluttering national flags and the verdant embrace of overhanging trees, the train emerges like a mechanical dragon from the past, leaving everyone fascinated with the authenticity of the place.
(Note: be very careful, the train passes between the houses at a very high speed and there is very little space.)

This photo of Hanoi Train Street was taken from Ng. 224 Lê Duẩn. The best way to get there is to walk and discover the city as you will find many things to photograph along the way.
You can also take a cab to the nearby coffee shop called Hanoi 1990s. Once you're there, walk to the left side of the track as there is a little more space. This way, you can stand there safely while the train passes.
Sometimes, the street is closed off by local police. In this case, the only way to enjoy the view is by being a patron of one of the cafes on the street.
Also, the train street is long; there are many places in Hanoi you can enjoy the street.
