This photo was taken at at Moonscape Overlook, about a 30 minute drive from the city of Hanksville.
To get there, go west on UT-24 and make a right onto N Factory Butte Road. When you approach Coal Mine Road, make a right, and it will naturally lead you to Skyline View Road and then Moon Overlook Road which dead ends. You will then see the spot in front and vast landscape in front of you.
It's easy to miss the turn-off to the spot when it's dark, so make sure that you check Google Maps constantly.
