This image was taken from the Green River Overlook in Canyonlands National Park. The most efficient way to reach this location is by car. Heading north on Grand View Point Road, take a left onto Upheaval Dome Road and then a slight left on Green River Overlook Road. Continue on Green River Overlook Road until you reach the parking lot (38.379494, -109.888185). Park your car and then walk south toward the cliffside. Reference the GPS coordinates and you'll see where I stood to get this south-facing view of the land and my model. Note: proceed with caution while approaching the cliffside.
