Known as the Scooter Waterfall of Taipei, a cresting wave of motorbikes cascades down the Taipei Bridge from Sanchung every day at rush hour in overwhelming droves and obscure, gritty beauty. In a city with more than 13 million motorbikes, no where does the volume of Taipei's favorite transportation mode feel more real than when this cavalcade is careening forward in unison in a literal wall of motorbikes.

This photo of the Taipei Bridge was taken from the intersection of Minquan W Road and Section 2. I stood facing the off-ramp of the bridge in order to get this shot (westward). There's no wrong way to take this photo. It can be done from up close, far away, across the street, or overhead. Just be creative and have fun. But most importantly, be safe.
