This location is in the northeast corner of the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Enter via the main entrance on Bayfront Ave and walk straight towards the back of the building. Turn right (do not exit the building) and take the escalator (next to Dragon Brand Brid’s Nest shop) to Level 2. Turn right and take a very long escalator to Level 4/roof. You'll see glass doors, walk through them and go straight to the glass railing. Look behind you and you will see the Marina Bay Sands hotel! Any month of the year you can photograph the Marina Bay Sands hotel at this location.

Try visiting in the late-afternoon before sunset (~18:00-18:30) when the light isn’t yet completely blocked by the skyline. This light will give the Marina Bay Sands hotel a beautiful glow!

I chose to compose the Marina Bay Sands hotel’s three towers in a way that they look connected to each other. Depending on your angle you can manipulate how the building looks. Move around!

Pay attention to the balance of your composition so you get the appropriate ratio of building and sky.

Be patient and wait for the cloud formations you like to move into the frame.
