Citycab Building Carpark Look Down

The Citycab building is along Marymount Rd. I stood in an open field just south of the building. By MRT: - Closest MRT Station: Marymount (Circle Line) - Take exit “A” - Head northeast toward Marymount Rd - Slight left onto Marymount Rd Address: Citycab Building, 600 Sin Ming Avenue, Singapore 575733

All months of the year are suitable to photograph Citycab Building’s carpark.

Visit during mid-day (12-3pm) when the sun directly shines onto the carpark; you’ll likely have little or no shadows from the neighboring buildings. You can still manage to capture the bright cab colors earlier in the day or during sunset. Since it’s a commercial building the carpark is usually packed with cabs, so don’t worry about visiting and not having a sufficient amount of cabs to capture.

A permit is required if flying a drone weighing more than 7kg, within 5km of an airport/military base, or higher than 200 feet.

Be sure to check the weather conditions before flying. Strong wind, low clouds or rain will result in signal interference increasing the risk of crashing or losing the drone.

There are a lot of trees around the perimeter of the field, so distance yourself a bit to keep a strong drone signal.

Because of its architectural structure, consider making use of lines for framing the shot. But, don’t allow the boundaries to confine any room for creativity.

Bishan Park is nearby, so if you enjoy a casual stroll to relax – head on over! If you’re lucky you’ll even see otters (that’s right, otters!).
