This image was taken inside the Katara Ampitheatre. The easiest way to reach the amphitheatre is to walk or take a golf cart from Katara Mosque.
If you have a car, you can park your car in the designated free parking spaces in Katara or use the free underground parking lot. You can also take public transport via Red Line.
Once you're near the ampitheatre, reference the GPS coordinates and you'll find yourself in the middle of the outdoor performance center.

Best time
Morning
The best time to photograph the Katara Ampitheatre will be during the beginning of the year when the weather is colder, but realistically, you can visit during any month.
The morning will provide beautiful lighting conditions and you'll also have the opportunity to take a photo with just your model in it. The theatre will get busier throughout the day.
Field tips
I brought my 12-24mm lens and loved using it here because I could fit the entire ampitheatre in my frame.
You could also bring along a zoom lens to capture more of the details of the architecture.
Since the theatre is neutral, I wanted my model to have on darker clothing. I think it makes them stand out more and they serve as a strong focal point with the contrast.
I liked using the wall texture to play around with different compositions. Experiment and see how you can make the most of the environment!
