@jesseroos
Capture an especially unique view of this stratovolcano, with the beautiful Sandy River Valley at its foot. On many autumn mornings, the valley fills up with fog and creates an ethereal atmosphere — tantalizing the senses and providing incredible photo opportunities.

This image was taken from Jonsrud Viewpoint, looking onto Mount Hood. This viewpoint is an easily accessible pullout with a small parking lot less than a mile down Bluff Road off of Highway 26. Reference the GPS coordinates to see the exact point where I stood to get this east-facing perspective of Mount Hood and the fog over the Sandy River Valley.
