Elk Flats is one of the gems of the Oregon Coast. Located about 20 minutes south of Cannon Beach, you will enjoy cliffside views away from the crowds.

This image of Elk Flats was taken from the southwest of the viewpoint by a drone.
You can get there by taking Highway 101 (Oregon Coast Highway). As you get close to the GPS coordinates, you will see a small pull-off parking area right off the highway. Then it will be a quarter-mile hike to the cliffside.
Besides your drone, I recommend bringing your camera and a full range of lenses. There's a lot to explore in this area, and you can get some good views from the primary viewpoint and the surrounding bluffs.
