Secret Beach is hands down one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States. Its plethora of sea stacks carries with them a liberating sense of untamed wilderness, while the beach provides ample opportunity to find private space to enjoy the oceanfront. You'll never forget a sunset at Secret Beach!

This image was taken on Secret Beach, looking west onto the Pacific Ocean. The trail to Secret Beach is steep, yet short, and is about 1/3 of a mile south of milepost 345 on U.S. 101 in Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor. There will be a small gravel parking area that leads to the 3/4 mile trail down to Secret Beach.
In order to get this particular shot, head to your right and there will be a side trail that takes you on top of a sea stack. Have caution on this trail, as there will be a decent amount of exposure and difficult routes to navigate. About mid-way to the top, there'll be a little grassy knoll that faces south and has a great view of the landscape below. There are some small rocks that you have to climb over, as well as a stream or two to reach the spot where I stood to get this photo. As you're walking, reference the GPS coordinates and you'll get to this viewpoint.
