Experience a different side of one of Oregon's most picturesque beaches as the day turns to night. The quaint oceanfront homes have a magical feel as the setting sun reflects onto their windows, causing them to emanate an amber glow.

This photo of the oceanfront houses was taken from Cannon Beach, near the Ecola Ct entrance. I stood near the water's edge to get the reflection from the tide and sunset as I faced east, looking onto the houses directly south of Ecola Ct. The beach is easily accessible by car. The nearest public parking lot is the Haystack Rock Public Parking area (45.889664, -123.961656). From there, it's a short walk northwest to the beach. Reference the GPS coordinates to find the exact spot where I stood to take the photo. From Haystack Rock Public Parking: - Head north on S Hemlock St - Turn left onto W Gower Ave - Turn left onto Ecola Beach Acc/Ecola Ct
