This magnificent building first opened in 1911 and since then, it's become a landmark in Midtown Manhattan. Immerse yourself in the rich history, Beaux-Arts architecture and intellectual ambience that's sure to make for a great photo opportunity.
I took this photo in the main branch of The New York Public Library inside The Rose Main Reading Room. The library is located on 5th Avenue and East 41st Street in Midtown. Upon entering the museum from East 41st Street, The Rose Main Reading Room will be straight ahead. I stood on the southend for my image.
