Long Island City's Hunter's Point South Park has some of the most photogenic skyline views of midtown Manhattan. From the waterfront, you can see straight across the East River toward the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building and even down to Lower Manhattan near One World Trade Center. In this shot, I was able to capture a glowing shot of the American Copper Building, which are luxury apartment buildings connected by a three-story skybridge.

This view of the American Copper Buildings and East River was taken from Hunter's Point South Park. I stood facing west toward Manhattan for this perspective. The best way to reach this spot is to take public transportation and then walk.
By public transportation:
- Closest station: Long Island City (via Oyster Bay or Point Jefferson)
- Head west on Borden Ave
- Turn left onto Center Blvd
- Turn Left at the Lic Landing
- Continue south
