Leelanau County is home to many picturesque farms and this red barn is no exception! Drenched in morning sunlight, this location is best photographed in the winter when it's covered in a fresh layer of white snow.

This image is of the red Elm Valley Farms barn. To get to this spot, it's best to drive.
From Traverse City, take M-22 north about 10 miles to Shady Lane Drive. Turn left and continue about 0.7 miles to Elm Valley Road. Turn right on Elm Valley Road and then travel about 0.5 miles.
The barn will be on your right, at the intersection of Elm Valley Road and a paved, unnamed road of a newer development. Be sure to park where residents can pass.
