Find this waterfall elegantly cascading over layered rocks in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It's an ideal waterfront location to capture the clear water sparkling against the setting sun along Lake Superior's coast.

The image is of Elliot Falls in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising. I took the photo standing northeast, looking toward the waterfall.
You'll need a car to access this location and be prepared for a short-distance hike. Elliot Falls is less than an 1/8 of a mile away at the east end of Miners Beach. Follow the GPS coordinates to position yourself where I stood to take my image.
By Car:
- Travel East on H-58 out of Munising for 11.5 miles
- Turn Left on Miners Castle Road
- Continue for 5 miles
- Turn Right on Miners Beach Road — going about 1 mile until you reach a T intersection
- At the intersection, turn Right onto Miner Road (following the sign pointing to North Country Trail)
- Drive about a tenth of a mile to the parking lot at the end of Miner Road (46.499732, -86.531818)
- From the parking lot, hike the gravel/sand trail going northeast about 1/8 of a mile until you reach Miners Beach
