You can capture the sign any time of the year, but to get the vines in full bloom, I recommend visiting from spring to early fall. The vines are also beautiful in the fall when they've started changing colors.

Visit anytime during the day when the light accentuates the details of the black wall, sign and greenery.

Using a zoom or telephoto lens (70mm) will allow you to zoom into the details of the green vinery and architecture.

Photographing at an upward, zoomed in angle gives a nice perspective. A straight angle isn't as aesthetically pleasing, as it'll incorporate the ground area into your shot.

Try standing a bit off to the right for the angle captured in this photograph. Feel free to also experiment with other angles for your own unique perspective!
