This photo was take from the Croce del Seceda, looking south towards Alpe di Siusi and the Sassolungo Group of mountains. The easiest way to get here is by taking the Ortisei-Furnes-Seceda cable car from Ortisei. The base station is at the top of the moving walkway in Ortisei. You'll then take a cable car from Ortisei to Furnes middle station, and then transfer to the large 40-person gondolas that take you up to the top of Seceda. From the top of the Seceda cable car station, follow the straight path across the meadow, labeled Trail #1. Continue along for about 10 minutes, marveling in the views, until you reach the cross and large circular, metal sculpture. From here, face south out toward the Sassolungo Group peaks.
