Manarola Overlook Viewpoint

avatar
@throughlucaslens
Characterized by its Lego-like colorful houses, the former fishing village of Manarola is one of five Cinque Terre villages in Italy. Viewed from the Manarola Overlook, this village is a patchwork of vibrant hues, each building a brushstroke on the rugged cliffside canvas. As sunlight plays over the facades, shadows, and highlights dance across walls, laundry lines, and terraces, crafting a picturesque scene.

This photo was taken from the Manarola Overlook Viewpoint. Manarola is most accessible by train, with frequent services running through the Cinque Terre National Park. You can also book a private Cinque Terre tour but keep in mind that renting a car isn't an option. Once you get to Manarola Train Station, walk north toward the restaurant Nessun Dorma. The Manarola Overlook will be right in front of you, you cannot miss it. I got there by taking a boat from Portovenere which takes around 35 minutes. Once you're in Manarola, look for Nessun Dorma, and you'll have this southeast view in front of you.
