Tips
When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Night
Visit these neon lights any month of year.
Definitely visit at night when the sky is dark and lights are illuminated. After 8pm there will be less traffic and distraction when getting your shot.
Field tips
By using a wide-angle lens (16mm) you can incorporate the width and height of the building — along with all the neon lights!
Handheld shots are fine given the illumination coming from the neon lights. No need for a tripod.
Experiment with different perspectives. The featured image is a look up, but I also captured a great shot by reflecting the neon lights off the top of a car. Take your time and find the right perspective!
