The featured image is a look up of China Hong Kong City’s façade. The building is home to a shopping mall, offices and a hotel.
Enter the building through its glass doors and go up to the second floor using the escalators on the right. Then, continue up the middle escalator which takes you to an outdoor area. Make a U-turn right, then turn left when you see the Taiwanese cafe. Walk out towards the uncovered area and you’ll see the look up!

Tips
When to go
Best season
June, July
Best time
Late afternoon, Sunset
The sun sets exactly between the buildings during the June and July months — this makes for a particularly vibrant shot! That said, you can get great images any month of year.
The buildings become extra gold around sunset when the light reflects directly on the surface. Gold on gold!
Field tips
By using a wide-angle lens (17mm) you’ll be able to incorporate the height of the façades.
Try getting low, or even on the ground, to make your angle even more epic — but be careful if there are passing cars behind you.
By using the grid on your camera you can ensure you capture a symmetrical shot.
