This photo of the Central district was taken from the lookout point on Lugard Road, a scenic pedestrian-only road on The Peak.
To get here, I recommend taking the historical Victoria Peak Tram, one of the oldest funicular trams in the world. Navigate to MTR Central Station, take Exit J2, and walk to the lower Peak Tram terminus located on Garden Road for the scenic ride up to The Peak. Alternatively, you can take Bus 15 from Exchange Square bus station.
Upon exiting the tram at The Peak Upper Terminus at the Sky Terrace, head straight until you reach Lugard Road. Follow Lugard Road for about 18 minutes, until you arrive at the Lugard Road Lookout point referenced in the GPS coordinates. From here, I set up my tripod and pointed my camera facing northeast out towards the cityscape and Central district.
