Capture this rugged, emerald-green mountain emerging from the tropical terrain that overlooks the many shades of the Pacific Ocean's waters. What I love most about this location is how secluded the beach looks from up above — as if there isn't anyone on the beach for miles and miles. You can also swim and snorkel along this coast, so after snapping a few drone shots, spend the day enjoying the natural beauty of the beach.

This drone photo was taken while standing on Ka'a'awa Beach and facing south toward the mountain that overlooks Kualoa Ranch and the Ka'a'awa Valley.
If you're coming from Honolulu, make sure you get on the H1 East Bound towards Kaneohe. Take the Likelike cut off and head over the mountain, through a tunnel and towards Kahekili Highway on your right hand side as you just enter the Windward side of Oahu.
From Kahekili Highway, you'll continue to drive until you hit Kamehameha Highway, past Valley of the Temples, past Mokoli'i Island and past Kualoa Regional Park, until you reach Ka'a'awa Beach.
Park along Highway 83 and the beach will be just steps away from the shore. Reference the GPS coordinates and it'll help you to locate the exact position where I stood to launch my drone. Fly southeast towards the water and you'll come across this view.
