The previous residence of a shy, 19th-century ruler captivates millions of visitors every year and the Romanesque Revival architecture brings a charming story to life as the palace is often called "the castle of the fairytale king." Capture a picturesque scene from the exterior of the grounds to see the castle in all of its glory.

This image of Neuschwanstein Castle was taken looking east from the south side of Parkstraße road, near the Neuschwanstein Tourist Info.
The only way to access this location is by car and I suggest parking in the carpark on the north side of Parkstraße, then crossing the street to get where I stood. For exact placement, reference the GPS coordinates.
