No trip to the north of England would be complete without a visit to these dramatic ruins on the headland that overlook the town of Whitby. Situated on the windswept east coast, Whitby Abbey has extensive ruins that provide a myriad of photographic opportunities. The town even provided some inspiration to the famous Bram Stoker for his acclaimed novel, Dracula!
