When to go
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
To capture the green-yellow hue of the tree outside the pub, visit here in September before the leaves fully change for fall.
Come here during any time of the day, but I suggest going around noon, when there isn't heavy rush hour traffic on the street.
Field tips
What's most interesting about this shot is highlighting the architecture itself. The contrast between the old, traditional style of the building and the newer ones nearby is what will make your photo stand out.
Try to incorporate people into your shot so that there's a sense of scale. You'll be able to tell how large the pub is when there are a few subjects standing outside of the building.
Photographing at an angle so makes for a more dimensional shot. The different heights, textures and colors will stand out more when you don't shoot straight on.

The shopping in Mayfair is incredible! Even if you're just there to window shop, it's worth walking around to see all of the high-end stores.
Stop for an afternoon tea in Thomas's at Burberry Regent Street. The famous British brand's in-store cafe is something I highly recommend to those that are visiting London.
This area is especially festive during the holiday season, so if you're in the area, make sure to check out all of the decorations.
