This image was taken in the underground level of the Southwark Station. You can either take the Jubilee line or enter the Southwark Station from the ground level. Head toward the central transition area where the escalators are and then take the escalators toward the Jubilee line down to the lower level.
Once you're on the lower level, you'll see a large set of steps going up to a half level. To the left and right you'll see the arches over the stairways — this is the middle transfer area to the subway lines. Both ends of the platforms are identical, but I recommend choosing an end with less people for a cleaner shot of the station.
