Whether it's for a quiet winter sunrise or a summer rooftop party with a live band, this elevated garden offers one of the very best views of the city. Directly in between the Bank Business District and The Shard, you get a fantastic 360-degree view of the skyline with an open-air balcony on the south side.

This image was taken on the terrace of the Sky Garden in the Walkie Talkie building with a north-facing view of The Leadenhall Building, The Gherkin and the Willis Towers Watson.
When you get to the front of the building, walk through the main entrance where you'll be greeted by staff and asked to go through a quick airport-style security check in. Then, you'll be escorted into one of two elevators that will take you to The Sky Garden. After taking the elevator to the top floor, you must walk up the terraced steps found on either side of the garden. Once at the top terrace, I stood near the middle of the window to achieve the desired framing.
