Steeped in over 500 years of history, the Old Royal Naval College is the centrepiece of Maritime Greenwich, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and an elegant complex on the banks of the River Thames.
The baroque buildings were designed by Sir Christopher Wren for the Royal Navy at the end of the 17th century. The grounds also house a maritime museum and offer over 18 acres of beautiful buildings to explore.

This photo of the façade of one of the many buildings of the Old Royal Naval College was taken from within the colonnades that run in the Old Royal Naval College's Grounds, which is a part University of Greenwich.
When I took the photo, I was facing east. To best acquaint yourself with the layout of the buildings and grounds, reference the GPS coordinates in satellite mode, rather than map mode.
