Guardian Guest House is the epitome of traveling on a budget — and in return, you get to wake up to the best view of the ancient Egyptian pyramids. Being directly across from the pyramids also means you're in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a local run-down town, but it feels like another world admiring the view from the room. Open up the window and listen to the sounds of the city and prayer calls while watching the sun set behind the pyramids. It's an incredible sight to witness!

This photo of the Great Sphinx of Giza and Pyramid of Khafre was taken in the hotel room I was staying in at Guardian Guest House. I moved the bed over to the window in order to get this view.
To arrive at this location, I was dropped off by Uber. The location's address is 1 Abou al Hool Street, Nazlet El-Semman, Al Haram, Giza Governorate 12561, Egypt.
Once you arrive at the hotel, you'll see the entrance to the pyramids is diagonally across the street. If you're facing the street in front of Pizza Hut, continue to the right to the approximate GPS location. Then, you'll see a little door near an ally for Guardian Guest House. It's easy to miss, but the owners are always great at assisting you with any help you need to find, explore or access this spot.
